Let's kick off the New School Year with a great day of Linux Games!
Bring your kids to play Tux Tournaments on the Big Screen.
Bring your won laptop if you can! And maybe a network cable?
Time is 11:00am to later - say 2pm or even 3pm if you want to keep the party rolling?
Play in a BZFlag tournament. That's a network team game of capture the flag with battle tanks. We are bringing a server set up with version 2.0.x, the default version on Ubuntu.
We are also celebrating Software Freedom Day !!
There will be one or more software demos!
- You can “draw” fancy pictures of data and function in R.
- There is always someone who knows shell script!
- Gimp! Gimp! Gim.. (That means version 2.6 - sorry - couldn't resist.)
