Efficient Use of GIT

March Meeting: Efficient Use of GIT

Date: March 7, 2006 at 7 p.m.
Location: University of Ottawa, Tabaret Hall Senate Room (083)

Efficient Use of GIT

Speaker: Kyle McMartin

Kyle will explore various ways to maximize the efficiency of using git to manage large projects that he has learned in the intervening year since his last talk. He will begin by demonstrating how disk space can be saved if you want to keep track of various Linux trees, and if time permits, go into more advanced details, with maybe some suprises in store.

About the Speaker

Kyle is an nth-year electrical engineering student at Carleton University. For fun (ha) he contributes to various projects, and maintains a few bits and pieces of Linux.
