SED - stream editor; i18n and l10n

Speaker: Steve Lusk

A stream editor is used to perform basic text transformations on an input stream (a file or input from a pipeline).

Linux internationalization and localization

Speaker: Peter Bowen

What, everyone does not speak English? What this revelation means for computing and how Linux and open source software have adapted to support users around the world. The speaker will also discuss how you can ensure your scripts and software work for all your users.

About the Speaker

Peter has been working with Linux and open source for the past decade. He is currently an engineering manager at Novell working on SUSE Studio and Linux appliances. Having moved to Ottawa three years ago, he is still getting used to the Canadian winters.
