Ian Ward has done a stellar job renovating the OCLUG web site. The purpose of this talk is to demonstrate some of the interactive features that allow - nay, invite! - members to see what is happening at OCLUG and more importantly, to participate themselves.
This talk will show what we are doing/have done with trac. Trac is an issue tracking system written in Python that integrates nicely with subversion. We are using the ticket system to keep track of board member action items, and we are using the wiki instead of our old installation of phpwiki.
Brenda is a software designer, currently working for Fidus Systems. Past accomplishments include teaching system administration and programming at Algonquin College and contributing to the OCLUG as attendee, speaker and organizer.
